it's highly unlikely they are going to wait 2 weeks. Even tesla can't tell that they will deliver in that timeframe until you are assigned a VIN. your best chance is to try talking to your delivery team when you are contacted to setup a delivery appointment. If you reject, you might be put into queue. Some people had to wait long and some had quick delivery based on availability in a week or month. so it's completely your luck.

Fingers crossed… I stayed the same today but all these changes to October or later has me checking pretty constant!
For a few days I was given a range in the last two weeks of September, now I'm in October again. That's ok, that's what I expected and wanted when I ordered. That would be a three month wait; I ordered a BMW in Germany one time and I think it was about a three month wait.
Ordered 5/6. Same dates as of yesterday 8/9-8/21. Been changing daily for the last week shifting +1 day since 8/3. Back end date hasn’t change 8/21z Ordered white with white, inductions, no tow, no fsd, 5 seat. Can’t wait to stop checking for the vin lol
Similar order date, 5/27, LR, White/Black, 5 seat, no tow, no FSD. Similar EDD, 8/9-9/29 early this morning, updated abt 9 AM MDT to "October".
Is it normal to refresh 50x a day when you seem this close???

Back to October. Ordered May 29th. Hoping for a change again tomorrow. Craziness. Need to find a new hobby besides reading Tesla forums/ YouTube or I'm going to go nuts. Lol. Can't wait! Had to extend my wife's lease already.

After ordering my luxe MY MYP, I spoke to my SA which is also my wife’s. He said, “wife’s blue MY has been soft matched and is in production now. Slated to leave Cali the 13th for delivery of the 26th.” So, no VIN, but with that news… were not taking the MY we saw yesterday then. We can wait “two more weeks”… (Elon voice for sure).

Some have had success with finding their VIN before it shows up on their page in the past. But not always. You can definitely see your VIN in the source code, but the question is: How far in advance does it show up in the source code before you can view it on your account?
Really concerning when an order done 5/29 and another done on 6/28 (mine) have the same updated EDD…

Don't worry, it doesn't mean anything. This almost always happens on Sunday and then EDDs will be back to normal by Tuesday or Wednesday.
Wifey got the magic text today to schedule delivery! Next Wednesday the 18th, it’s been a loooooong 3 months. Hopefully there aren’t any issues.

Yeah I'm mostly talking to the May and early June orders. Late June and July orders have a long ride ahead of them.
