Oh gawd. Imagine when white van man gets their hands on them. Will need to pack their tools a bit better though.

I'll catch-up in the morning. I expect it's going to be very marmite - i don't think he's going after volume with this one, he'll leave that to Rivian/Ford

I agree and in a way I'm hoping I'll hate it otherwise I'm going to be pining for one! Since living out in the sticks I'd been considering a pickup but from an economic point of view it wouldn't work.

The only question is whether it will emerge towing a SpaceX rocket, or if it will be lowered to the ground beneath one...

IF it has decent range and the ability to plug in 110/230v tools directly into it then it has a great chance US and OZ and could well be build in volume to keep price competative. Of course if you have to drive 500 miles in OZ to get it serviced then that might not be a selling point - specially if you get to the SC and they tell you the parts haven't arrived.

Erm, maybe it'll grow on me? The top range tri motor sounds like it'll be a beast though.

It's fine all they have to do is get it up to 88mph then it can go back to the drawing board :D

It's not like anyone in this country was going to buy it whatever it was like.

Not likely to be accepted in the UK, but I can see it becoming legendary in the USA.

Not sure if anyone else noticed or seen, but the new UI on the screen in the truck looks completely different!

Might be the next big update to all cars - the quick access buttons are down the side (not the bottom) and maps are 3D

Not angular enough to be radar proof.
Everywhere you go people are going to be throwing rocks at it
Sentry mode might just make that popular with plumbers and the like.

I was going to say I wanted a share of the profits as I clearly remember designing this when I was 5, my mum still has the drawings, but then I realised it probably will not make any profits, so not worth the hassle.
