I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this kind of situation.

Was making my 1.5 hour trek to my Tesla location to pick up my brand new MS yesterday when I got an email about 30 minutes into the drive from my DS. He informed me that his service team found a defect in the driver door and it was not shutting and sealing properly. As such, he's going to have to move my delivery date. Not sure when, because they have to order parts, but it definitely won't be this weekend. To say I was upset would be an understatement. How was this not caught in inspection in California, since it was immediately clear to the technicians here in Pennsylvania?

My guess is there's nothing to do except continue the agonizing wait. I was debating about asking for them to throw in mats or give us a loaner while we wait, but I'm already guessing the answer on that. Does anyone have any similar experiences?
