Yeah, could just be a logistics thing. Like, when it's going to be driven down from Freemont. Stoked for you though! We have the same specs, diff colour.

Yeah, white looks pretty sweet too! You should add the storm trooper march to the driving sound! haha

You'll have to reapply every 60 days I believe. The simplest thing to do is have your SA change your payment to cash once your agreement date passes. Then you can switch back to financing when you get closer to delivery. That way you don't keep dinging your credit with inquiries.

Don’t change your payment method while you’re order is in. This can (and has to a few people on here, including to my friend last month) push you to the back of the line as the system will see a change made on your account as it’ll be re-finalized to the date you approve & submit the change. Then you’ll be waiting for a November or December delivery.

IMO, at this point just suck it up and wait it out and learn from this, and when a VIN is finally assigned to you then make whatever payment changes to your account, if you don’t want your order delayed even more.

Visited Tesla showroom and my order has estimate gate date as 9/9. (ordered 6/12) Most of you might already have a gate date if you are expecting by September. Not sure if SA will tell when you call but if you can, pay a visit to Showroom to be more certain on the date.

I'm having a case of FOMO haha
can't justify buying the car just because is electric and saving money on gas, because I drive around 3k miles/year
my plan is to keep the car for 10 years minimum, but what if they launch a new battery and the price of the car drops?
or the range increase a lot? I might be paying 70k for the car that is going to be worth 50k in case they increase range and cheaper battery... ( kinda like AP1 2016 model x prices are compared to model x late 2016 AP2)

That is the risk with any tech or car, but to be fair, I am seeing a lot of 2016-2021 cars selling just fine with minimal loss. There will always be so many what-if moments, but how I see it is with Tesla is that we get a lot of over-the-air upgrades that help, and it is a TESLA...enjoy the now! The same goes for range, I used to have a Nissan Leaf in 2016, and I had 110 miles, and it was just fine for what I needed...having 300 now...well, I need to drive more. Just my take on it.
