Word on the street is that placing a hold after receiving a VIN won't send you to the back of the queue, correct?OD 07/22 received 2022 VIN @ 1:45 pm ET, going to call SA tomorrow to hold until 2022 for EV tax credit

Lots of ppl talking about waiting to get tax credit... Can anyone tell me more about this credit? Any search I do only references the expired credit for Teslas.OD 07/22 received 2022 VIN @ 1:45 pm ET, going to call SA tomorrow to hold until 2022 for EV tax credit.
This should help EV tax credits on the cusp of change: Price cap gets boost for qualifying trucks and SUVsLots of ppl talking about waiting to get tax credit... Can anyone tell me more about this credit? Any search I do only references the expired credit for Teslas.
Thank you for this. But this is what I have been reading and a few things are confusing. This seems to state that taxes for 2020 (file in 2021) you can get a credit for all BUT Tesla's. I do not see verbiage that allows for Tesla credit for next tax year.
You are looking at the explanation of what a tax credit is and how it works. Look at the top 2 sections that talk about the build back better bill. That will talk about what they are looking to include in current legislation. Not 100% it won’t change, or even be approved.Thank you for this. In addition, this article seems to suggest that buying this year, 2021, will allow credit on this year's taxes. Hence my confusion...

mine just shortened to the same EDD this morningStill waiting (late July / early Aug order) but my EDD window recently narrowed from 28 days to 14 (11/21-12/5).
You should get your soon. Got the VIN yesterday and I just denied my delivery until next year.mine just shortened to the same EDD this morning
I picked up my Y on September 27th and it has a 100% charge range of 330 miles, so I think this is just Tesla getting their info up to dateI noticed around end of October, perhaps the beginning of November that the listed range for the LRMY went from 326-330 miles.
Has anyone read any information as to why the slight increase? I wonder for those of us that have recently gotten VIN's, will we have the longer range, minimal I know, but interesting to think about.
I am saving all of my shopping until after I take delivery between November 18-22nd. Can't waitAfter 2 days of a 11.11 to 12.9 I got a shortened window of 11.13 - 11.27!!! Yes Yes! Maybe I will have a reason to get out of the house on Black Friday!!!
hang in there, you're almost there!EDD begins tomorrow no VIN yet D:
