Do you know what this is called, and can it be adjusted?

This is at the bottom right side of the trunk, where the hatch stopper touches when closed. It’s not sitting flush vs. the left side and I think it’s creating a panel gap- is there any way to adjust it? It seems fixed/won’t turn or pull off easily.

You’re probably better off trying to turn the piece on the hatch itself (that mates to this).

Or conversely, maybe it isn’t fully pressed in, try pushing it down?

It looks to me like it needs to be rotated 90 degrees clockwise .

Both of mine are flush. Can you rotate the part? The top surface should be parallel with the adjustable bump stop. I can't tell, from the angle of your photo, if it's correct.

Pictures of the same area from our Y. Obviously shouldn’t be flat because of the angle of the stay on the trunk lid.

It's facing the right way, as compared to the other side. However, it's not sitting flush against the metal on the car, so I was wondering if that could be adjusted or if anyone knew the exact name of the part. No worries, I will take it to service. Thanks, all.

Take it to service. They might be able to do a quickie, while you wait, fix or tell you it is fitted properly.

Seems like your photos answer the issue. There is a stop (bottom piece you’re focused on) and the adjustable bumper above that shows it has a torques head to adjust up and down. Just adjust that.
