Does the 49k Initial run include rims?

Pretty sure the initial 49k run have PUP, but I seem to have read somewhere it include the 19inch rims as well. Is this the case?

No it doesn't. That will be another $1,500.

Hmmm.... I like the look of the 19" rims, but prefer a smoother ride which I understand would make the 18" preferable. Are the aero 18" rims covers that can be removed, or would I have to find and aftermarket version that I like?

It looks like they are covers. I expect that once the Model 3 really starts shipping there will be a lot of 3rd party covers to either cover the entire wheel, or just the center hub/lug nuts.

A lot of people will tell you they are covers. No one knows for sure. Earlier versions on the RCs looked a little more like a cover, but the ones we’ve been seeing recently look to me like they aren’t.

If they aren't I don't see how you get to the lug nuts.
