No check or downgrade yet here. Just a confirmation email that the rep has submitted my request to downgrade and to process the check

Same here, they emailed me around June 20th saying the downgrade via software would occur in 2 weeks and then the check 4 weeks later (which would be about now). So far neither has happened.

Same here. chat with Tesla last week I was told it will take a couple of more weeks to process the payment

Keeping an eye on this and unsure if i want to do it. In the long run, resale seems better to just keep it as is but I wouldnt mind the cash now to throw into the mix.

If you use Tesla math and current price drop on the Model 3, then you'll be ahead $1k if still offering the refund

According to my Tesla correspondent working on downgrades, they are pretty backed up.
A lot of Sr+ owners must have requested to downgrade.

The last message from support "We do apologize for the delay in reaching out to advise on next steps for your downgrade. At this time, we do not have an exact time frame for when you will be contacted. This change in configuration will not require a visit to your local service center and will be completed with a software update. Thank you for your patience while we work on processing these requests. "
