who did you go through for financing?
Through Tesla, but looking at the paperwork it is actually RBC underwriting the deal.

I was at my RBC few weeks ago to renew my mortgage and ask about that: My counselor told me that we will never have a better rate than a manufacturer, so that I better go with Tesla financing.Me too. Let me know if you happen to contact RBC directly. I may end up doing the same to see if they can offer a better deal than 3.9%
FYI, when ordering your Model 3, there isn't an option to choose Tesla financing right now. The only options are pay in cash or via a loan from your bank or credit union.
I called Tesla Customer Service and they basically just said they aren't fully setup for the financing options in the online portal yet and that this will be handled by your Delivery Specialist I believe.
Huh, very interesting. This is for a Model 3?When I ordered that option was available, in fact my portal shows I requested lending from Tesla:
Yup Model 3, configured 03/24.Huh, very interesting. This is for a Model 3?
Very strange. This is what I see:Yup Model 3, configured 03/24.
Thanks for the additional data point.Tony, I got the previous one on Sunday.
Very strange. This is what I see:
Very strange indeed.Tony, I got the one with 3 options. Cash, loan arranged through Tesla, and finance through my bank. That’s strange you you don’t have the Tesla financing option?
Very strange indeed.
I'll check back on it in a couple days and see if anything changes.
Did you guys opt to perform a trade-in? I did. If you didn't, maybe that is the differentiator?
Do you know if the trade will apply a discount to your purchase price yet?

Tony, How was the trade in quote from Tesla? How did it compare to a private sale or what typically a dealer would offer? It will. I had a quote done already via Oakville. It's only valid for 30 days though, I believe. So I may have to go to through that song and dance again closer to the delivery date.
It was in line with what I could probably fetch for my car in a private sale AFTER the tax benefit is applied. With that, the stress of trying to sell my car privately would be saved.Tony, How was the trade in quote from Tesla? How did it compare to a private sale or what typically a dealer would offer?
