Typically the mods will either establish a sticky thread for the real update or consolidate into one. I do not envy this job this time around. Seems as if every member has their own 8.0 thread.

Since 8.0 is live to at least some folks, where is everyone going to discuss the real 8.0? I'm only finding a 8.0 for Classics thread in the Model S UI forum, but topics are sometimes pretty spread out on TMC these days ... so appreciate the pointer where to join you-all on the other side.

Agree and there's at least 4 threads going on simultaneously. MODS or @Doug_G - can we move/consolidate this 8.0 stuff to the Firmware 8.0 thread and make it sticky?

Ik zag ook dat navigatie nu met waypoints kan werken. Dat is ook een mooie verbetering.

Overigens is het een heleboel bytes die ze naar die auto's moeten pushen. Stel dat de download zo'n 2GB is dan praat je toch over grofweg 250TB aan data die verstuurd moet worden. En dat doet Tesla echt niet via bittorrent.

Eh...waar zag je dat ? Dat zou echt een heeeele verbetering zijn maar heb daar dan overheen gelezen.

Er wordt duidelijk veel gewijzigd, als ik die release notes doorneem. Eindelijk kun je de veerboten vermijden!

Dat is dan ook de enige nuttige toevoeging voor de classics, buiten gebruiksgemak en styling, maar dat boeit me niet zo, daar ben ik al tevreden over. Conclusie: lieve Elon, mag ik V8.0 inruilen tegen up to date kaarten?

When I try that link I get a 404 because the site tries to redirect me to same-page on the GB sub-site. For anyone with that problem this link should force the non-country-specific page:

Anyone know how to not do this part?: "The control bar fades automatically for an uncluttered navigation experience."

I found it very annoying this morning that I couldn't figure out a quick way to bring the control bar back up when the map was up. I assume I am missing something obvious.

I found it very annoying this morning that I couldn't figure out a quick way to bring the control bar back up when the map was up. I assume I am missing something obvious.

Sadly, you don't get the choice (which is particular bad that is hides the cellular bars). You must tap on the screen or put the car in part to see the top bar.
