Seems like the advisor told the customer their X had HW4
Correct. Because history has shown, the leadership fails to routinely ensure that the customer facing employees (Advisors) are well informed with current/accurate/up to date information about the productAnd the advisors usually know jack sh!t about things like that…
Supply chain demand for certain electronics has most likely eased up somewhat now compared to januaryThat car has USS sensors. They stopped USS on the S/X in January. Are they adding it back for HW4?
I don't believe that's been confirmed on the S/X, there are threads in the S page and to this point no one has received a MS without USS, unless I missed it.That car has USS sensors. They stopped USS on the S/X in January. Are they adding it back for HW4?
Teslascope isn't just any random Joe Shmo.. they report with accuracy. Historically, they've only been wrong twice. That's why I chose to post this here, as I trust them as a reputable source.Maybe its my age, and I am getting more grumpy as I get older, but I really dislike the rush to be "First" with information like this, instead of "right"... both here and elswhere online.
If they were confident in the information they released, they would not have put that disclaimer In the thread that I screenshotted. They obviously wanted to try to be first, rather than vetting it more so they didnt need disclaimers. I have no idea what the reason is that you posted it here when you saw that and the disclaimers, but it looks like trying to be first to bring it here.Teslascope isn't just any random Joe Shmo.. they report with accuracy. Well, truthfully, I didn't see that disclaimer. I only saw "Teslascope" and believed it was confirmed. If they were confident in the information they released, they would not have put that disclaimer In the thread that I screenshotted. Maybe front facing or another term.So how would this line up with Green's info on the HW4 computer? What cameras would these headlight cameras be? The new location of the front/side facing driving cameras, labelled FF, which we thought meant front fender? Or the bumper/SVC cameras we think are for parking? But there were three of those so the speculation was front/centre and the other two in the rear bumper (or even mirrors or b-pillar) if they are surround view cameras.
And in the Tesla emblem, but it's too soon to say.All this hype over a couple more cameras inside the headlights? Isn’t that gonna have some glare issues? It also looks like they could retrofit this. Idk man. There is also USS on that car.
Long story short, I don’t think that is a true HW4 car.
