C’mon tesla. You can build a self driving car that can take turns and navigate itself in rain and snow but the wipers don’t detect pouring rain…….Just venting.

I think my 2020 3 is better than the 2023 S.Sounds like another edition of the older cars are superior to the newer cars. My auto wipers work great, always have
The ones on my 2015 are good but not perfect. Still times when they go off when it's not raining and don't turn on when I want.Sounds like another edition of the older cars are superior to the newer cars. My auto wipers work great, always have
Worst part is your 2015 at least has a real rain sensor. The rest of us have the trash Tesla vision systemThe ones on my 2015 are good but not perfect. Still times when they go off when it's not raining and don't turn on when I want.
Definitely not as good as the old 2013 Ford C-Max Energi I had. Those were perfect.
They oh so helpfully switch to “auto” every time you engage TACC, autosteer, or FSD.After a recent update, wipers turn themselves on when dry. Turn them to the off position and about 20 min later they turn themselves on from the OFF position, again with no rain. Anyone else? PIA and safety hazard.
Thankfully the s/x don’t do this. That by itself is almost worth the extra moneyThey oh so helpfully switch to “auto” every time you engage TACC, autosteer, or FSD.
