I didnāt get a VIN yet. 9/1 orderIt seems as though everyone who placed an order on 9/1 have received a VIN with the exception of me. lol
I guess that I picked the wrong color... black. Haha

It should ship with HW4 and those have a phoenix radar. Not sure why theyāre not advertising it.
As far as I can tell itās an in-house developed radar they been working on to supplement vison for FSD, maybe? Not much is known about it only that it exists in hw4. Some ppl took their x bumper apart and found there was a new radar sitting behind the bumper. No one knows how it works.
I really hope it helps with them implementing better park assist then.
Phoenix is the code name for this radar project, I think thatās a thing

My financing had expired and I did not have insurance added and they still assigned VIN. My order was on 9/2 NY
My situation is a bit tricky because I actually completed everything for my previous delivery attempt on 9/11 that I ultimately rejected the vehicle for QC issue that delivery center werenāt willing to fix.
So my order status showed as completed for financing
Waiting for Tesla to respond back to my text inquiry about this. Hope theyāre working Saturday
Likely a late Sept build, but also possibly an Oct 1st week build.
Highly doubt it's an Aug build. I think Aug builds are around PF412xxx. I was previously assigned a PF412xxx that had an 8/23 build.
I texted Tesla and they responded with a 10/06 build date.
