Found this next to my car after mobile service

Any ideas what this is? I had my tires rotated today (mobile service) and this was on the ground next to my car. Is this needed? Maybe it fell off his jack? It wasn’t there before he came, but it was there after he left.

Solution
That looks like an “adapter.”

For some cars if the owner changes wheels or lugnuts, they might end up with a different type (ball vs acorn vs mag) or size.

Whether or not it comes from you or just something the tech dropped from pocket, I couldn’t tell you. I would assume if factory wheel, then it shouldn’t need an adapter.
