Hello
I'm new to Tesla.
Just got my first one yesterday. A used 2023 Model Y performance (hw4 by looking at the red cameras).
I set acceleration to Chill.
And in FSD settings I set behavior to average.
But when FSD is engaged and coming out (from a stop sign) to a 45mph road it literally flooring it... accelerates way too fast for me.
I wonder if chill in FSD behavior settings will change that (didn't try yet) but I doubt it's related.

Also, I live in a some kind of enclosed neighborhood, not gated but separated from a fast road. with many kids playing around. But the FSD thinks it's ok to go 25mph... no one goes 25mph here. And it also accelerates too fast.

Try Chill and let us know how it works for you.

I wouldn’t use FSD in a neighborhood like yours. Mine is similar and I don’t use FSD here. Too risky. Just because you can use FSD anywhere doesn’t mean you should.
Yeah I turned it off immediately when it started accelerating in the neighborhood. supervised it must be....
