FSD on surface streets but NOT interstate?

I have a 2021 Plaid, and this week activated FSD with FSD Beta 10.69.25.2, main software version: 2022.44.30.10. Yesterday I took a trip that included interstate. On surface streets and regular highways, the FSD visualization was showing and FSD engaged. When I turned on to the interstate, the visualization returned to Auto Pilot, and only AP with navigation was available. FSD returned when I exited to a highway.

Is this expected behavior on this version? Has anyone else experience this?

Yes. There are currently two stacks - FSD Beta on city streets, and AP on freeways. Once the new V11 is released, it will unify the stacks and you'll have FSD Beta everywhere.
