FSD Transfer Offer

I received an email today offering transfer of my (future promise of) FSD to a new car if I took delivery before the end of March. It included not just factory new, but also inventory stock. I am not ready to trade in my current car, but for those who have already purchased a promise of FSD and are changing over it might be worth looking into.

Most important part of the email:

"Take delivery of a new Model 3 or Model Y by 31 March 2024, to be eligible."

Would be a bit of a stretch to guarantee delivery before 31 March.

Both Model 3 variants and all Model Y variants on the website are saying expected delivery: Feb-Apr 24...

I just completed all of the forms and contracts to transfer FSD from my model 3 to a new model S. Forms and request must be initiated prior to delivery of the new vehicle (in addition to the delivery requirement prior to end of March).

One more note - you are not required to trade in your current vehicle that has FSD - it is a simple software transfer irrespective of trade-in, sale or retention statue of the current vehicle.

We no longer get model S or X in Australia. Tesla do not consider us worthy of the effort.

No offer here for an original Model S owner.
Perhaps they have given up on me buying a replacement.
Biggest problem is that if I were to replace it, I would want a Model 3 but my partner wants a Model Y and we’re yet to come to an agreement.
