Well, I've been busy getting the garage ready for my new baby. Second EVSE is in, plus a new epoxy floor, and all new storage. All I need is a couch, tunes, and a 70" TV, and my wife might never see me again! I brought my new M3 SR home, today, and I'm pretty stoked. It still thinks it's an SR+, and I hope it stays that way long enough for me to play with autopilot a bit. Unfortunately, the floor needs a couple more days to cure, so she has to sit out in the driveway for a bit.
Here are the photos of the final result. The Blink is 8 years old, on a 6-50 and 40a circuit and charges at 30a. I used it charge my 2011 LEAF, my 2014 RAV4EV, and now it will be charging the new Tesla. I've pushed over 30mWh through it, and I can still access all of the charging records for all that time. Except for replacing a bad handle, it's been a happy camper and has never let me down. You'll note that it was originally placed for the LEAF, at the head of the parking space. When I got the new cord and plug, I spliced the old and new cords using the junction box on the left to bring the main cord and plug around to the driver's side of the space.
My wife will be passing on her Plug in Prius to the younger generation, and taking over the RAV. The PIP used to charge on 120v, but now I've added a new 14-50 on a 50a circuit (6AWG in conduit, so I could convert to 60a if I ever wanted to) to plug my OpenEVSE into to charge the RAV.
