If I recall, that includes both dash and center screens, right?2012 P85, #2446 - getting MCU2 upgrade next week less FM radio.
Thanks for the link. I've read it recently before making the upgrade decision. Did you send it to me specifically for something in it that I should be aware of or just general info?Infotainment Upgrade | Tesla Support
Upgrade your Infotainment system to access new features, and for a more advanced and smoother user experience.www.tesla.com
Thx. Both new screens, dash and middle?I thought it included the answer to your question - but no. Yes, the upgrade has included new screens in the past and I assume it still does.
How do you know that?Oh wow. My 2012 was made on the same day as yours
I would assume by the VIN you supplied. How do you know that?
Eureka ! Figured it out - decided to focus on fixing the Voice Command "Connection Error. Try again" issue thinking it might be unrelated to the Theater and TuneIn issue. One internet solution to the Voice Command issue was to delete all driver profiles and press voice command button on steering wheel. After doing that, the "Connection Error. Try again" error went away. Then thru voice command I said "start NetFlix" and what you know, both theater and TuneIn work like a charm! Lastly, reentered driver profiles.Follow up, received MCU2 upgrade back from my Telsa Service Center today. All better except the following. Service request initiated:
1. Blank Theater. (Arcade and Toybox OK.) See pic
2. TuneIn not accessable. See Pic
3. Voice command not working. See Pic
I've tried the following tricks - Monty Pyton Easter Egg, steering wheel reset, change wheel configuration, and change display language.

I'm looking to upgrade my MCU. Do you think the upgrade is worth what they are charging for it? What do you like the most about the upgrade you just had done to your Model S? I already have the LTE upgrade i my vehicle but ended up with some bubbles on my instrument panel and they say it would be cheaper to just replace the MCU.Eureka ! Congrats. To me, update was well worth it. Look at my post #12 if you can't access Theater (Netflix, etc), TuneIn, and Voice Command. Better yet, unlike me, make sure those work before you leave the service centerjust had my model x go through the mcu upgrade today
Good question. Don't know. When you pay for the MCU upgrade can you keep the old MCU ?
