Ghost In The Machine?

I rarely post, but thoroughly enjoy all the helpful comments by our community members. Here’s something that has had me scratching my head about for months:
After I park the car in my garage I’ll go back out to the garage say 15 minutes later, and I’ll hear motor noises coming from under the hood. This happens even when I do not have the car plugged into the wall charger. Any idea what’s going on?

The car continues to run the AC compressor to dry out the filters etc, to help prevent the mold smell. Thats one thing that could be happening. There are other checks etc that could be happening. Its very normal for the car to continue to be "running stuff" when you park, plugged in or not.
