Yo @destructure00 , did you call them or they called you?
Any clue if it's the new design or not?Just got the text today from my service center in Raleigh that the spoiler is finally in!
Just got mine. After thoroughly inspecting the first one they looked at they discovered that it had some damage to the edge on one side so they did not install it. The second one was / is perfect...View attachment 403685
No clue yet, will get it done on Friday and ask them about itAny clue if it's the new design or not?
Yep, small gap there.
I get the feeling that they are pretty much all like that, even the good installs.Jeez slight lift on passenger side after a couple of days. I give up and will live with it unless tesla comes out with a redesign.

does your passenger side look like that? i think i remember you saying yours stayed put. the 3m adhesive is still on the car but corner of the spoiler wants to pull away from it. driver side stayed completely flush.I get the feeling that they are pretty much all like that, even the good installs.
Yes, it's not visible unless you get up extremely close like your photo. It's a non-issue for me. The adhesive does not extend all of way to the tip, so there will always be a small gap at the extreme tips.does your passenger side look like that? i think i remember you saying yours stayed put. the 3m adhesive is still on the car but corner of the spoiler wants to pull away from it. driver side stayed completely flush.
The OEM spoiler is already a matte finish. I'm trying to turn it into a glossy finish with glossy PPF lol.I'm looking to turn my spoiler into a matte finish. What's the best and easiest option? I don't really care about protection, just purely aesthetics.
I have the OEM spoiler installed. It doesn't look that matte to me. It seems like it's in between glossy and matte? Lol either way I want to make it more matte. I was looking into PPF Stealth but I think that's a more satin finish. The OEM spoiler is already a matte finish. I'm trying to turn it into a glossy finish with glossy PPF lol.
You definitely jumped the line. They contacted me to get my spoiler installed at the Miramar location a few weeks ago. I got the car 6 months ago though. If you are in San Diego and still waiting for a spoiler, go ahead and set up an appointment at the new SC in Kearny Mesa. I got mine installed yesterday. The Trade PL SC kept telling me that Tesla will contact me when they have it. I've just had my car over a month though so I guess I got lucky.
