Has anyone claimed the Alternative Fuel Vehicle refueling property Tax credit?

Don't worry, the $7500 per EV credit looks like it is unaffected. The refueling property credit (e.g. for installing HPWC, 14-50, or other EVSE) looks to be limited or eliminated by an AMT calculation, even for some people who aren't otherwise affected by AMT. I didn't spend a lot on my 14-50 outlet, but so far it looks like I won't be able to claim any credit for it. I'm definitely still eligible for the $7500 though.

Thanks, NeedToDrive and paulkva! This explains why the credit didn't work out for me in TurboTax. Stupid TMT. ;-( But I can't complain too much--like you, I'm eligible for the $7500! Still, it's a shame we can't push the refueling property credit off a year. ;-) Ah well. . . .

Has there been any talk about re-instating the "Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Tax Credit" that provides the $1000 tax credit for infrastructure? It seems like everything else keeps getting extended, but I haven't heard any talk of this one. Yet, this one is critical IMO to keep building up infrastructure which is still minimal.
