Has anyone ever gotten Tesla Service to replace a battery due to degradation?

I'm engaged with Tesla Service on the drastic range drop my 2018 Model 3 LR is experiencing. 3.5 years and 89k miles in, I'm down to barely 200 miles in summer for a full charge and as low as 150 miles in winter. I requested service and after several rounds of email with Tesla Service, it's becoming apparent that they would rather not replace a battery that's now providing at best 64% of original range, well below the minimum 70% of original specified in the Tesla warranty.
Most of us old time Tesla owners know that Tesla calculates range at a steady 60 mph. City driving will use more, and so will higher speeds, JUST LIKE IN ANY GAS CAR. Only thing is, the "gas tank" on a Tesla is about 3 gallons (less for a 3), so although it gets well over 100 mpg, it also runs out pretty quick.

There is a company in CA that refurbishes batteries, for what it's worth. Other than that, you might ought to find out how best to charge your battery and how to store it for longer periods of time, for best longevity.

People don't seem to worry that their gas cars lose range, too, or use more oil, or smoke more as the car ages. Just charge it more often and learn how best to live with it, unless you want to buy something else. Some folks just can't make electric cars work for them. Myself, I'm on my third and fourth Teslas, drive them everywhere, and love them. Don't ever plan to go back to burning fossils.
