spleen, No, have not seen that before. I'd recomment wiping down an area around the outlet on the wall with a mixture of water and lemon juice. Ants and roaches hate the smell of lemon. Naturally, let it dry before holding the UMC. Might also wipe the cable near the end of the UMC and let it dry. Don't forget, the cable from the wall is not the only way the ants could climb on the car - tires. Sounds like there's something in the charging port they are hungry for? Blow it dry with a can of air?

solar, let me take a picture of mine. I think I didn't do a very good job of explaining where my sticker plate currently is. (Its mounted on the bottom of the car and sticks out the back.) Is that what you understand? Do you still want the the distance between my license plate mounting bolts?
Another welcome to jatk. Using the "rule" that jatk provided in comment #949 of this thread and the picture of ddruz's tag and stickers in comment #945, it assures us that ddruz's method if acceptable. I like ddruz's method much better than how I did mine. I will post you folks a picture of mine, later today. But I am thinking of tweaking ddruz's method. Maybe instead of adding a separate plate to the end of the tag or secured from a tag screw, I was thinking of a metal or maybe plastic flat plate that hides completed behind the tag matching the screws. The difference being the plastic plate will have an "ear" sticking out the side measuring about the 4" by 2.5-3" that the stickers would stick on. This would eliminate the separate plate for the sticker by making it part of the plate behind the tag. I'll have to find a plastic plate larger than the tag and cut it to fit the size of the tag and the sticker. But I like the thought of a plastic plate between the tag and the paint on the car. hhmmm, gotta think about this some more.
p.s., nanimac did you ever get your 14-50 installed at your house?
