How long does a typical tinting job take?

Trying to figure out how long I will need to borrow my wife's car if I decide to get my Model 3 tinted.
How long does a typical tinting job take for those who have done it? thanks

I got all windows tinted and the car was there for about 6-7 hours. I wanted them to take their time, but I’m sure it can be done faster.

If the place is just working on your car, it should be somewhere between 2 hours to 6 hours depending on the number of windows and size of the windows and how many people are working on it.

Can someone comment on "ballpark" price range for a typical tinting job would take for the Model 3? I want to make sure I'm not getting ripped off thanks! (I know it depends on what type of tint, but just looking for ballpark)

I paid about $600 for windshield and sides. Didn't tint the top/back window.

$400 for everything but the windshield and front roof

This is great. The prices are less than I expected.

I understand why there is no need for tint on the roof but do people think tinting the rear is necessary? I heard some people had issues with the defroster (?)

$220 for all the windows except windshield, sunroof, and back only up to about 5 inches passed the non-factory tinted part.

I got mine done a few days back, took them about a day to do all windows & entire glass roof, excepting the windshield... cost $950.

An experienced tint business can do the entire rear window in one piece. No problems with the defroster.

Hot summer states like Arizona, NM, Texas and Florida should get all the windows tinted, IMO.

Where? Lol. That’s way lower than anything else I’ve heard.

Mine took 3.5 hours and was $600 with tax for llumar pinnacle. For doors and back window in one piece.

Just got mine done. Took about 3-4 hours for side windows and rear windshield. $540 for XPEL Prime XR. Unfortunately everyone in town have raised tint prices for Model 3 dramatically over the last 6 months, since it's difficult to do the large rear windshield in one piece.

mine took 3 hours to tint. 30% everywhere except the front windshield. back windshield done in one piece. nano ceramic tint. expect to pay $600-$800.
