HVAC Won't Stay On...?!

Starting to get ticked.

I tap 'ON' on the app, and within 2-3 min, it shows OFF again. It's FREEZING outside.

The HVAC sucks to begin with (never close to temp set), works 5% as well as my 09 Tahoe.

What.. the ... heck?!

It seems fine after rebooting the car.... why doesn't the car just auto reboot every day at like 1 AM?

Happen to me again. I think this has something to do with me manually turning off hvac before leaving the car. In the past few times, if u had manually turned off hvac before leaving the car, then I cannot remote start the hvac, it turns off after 10 sec

This is an issue with the App. What I've found is that if you close the App completely and reopen it, the problem goes away.

I don’t think it is an issue with the app. It does the same thing whether I use the app, Teslafi or Alexia to issue the heater start command. I will try restarting the app, but I doubt that will fix it.

It did work for me but I've only ever used the Tesla App. However, it might be due to something about the connection held in memory in the car (shouldn't happen but...).

For me I have this issue now if I had hvac off when I was last in the car, if I turn it on before I get out then it works remotely no issue, if not then this issue of it turning on then shutting off after a min or less occurs.

I wrote a email to NA support and they got back to me asking for a bunch of details. Hopefully this will tip them off to the issue for a fix in a future update. I'll try to repro the situation and send them the exact time it happens.
