HW4 and Phoenix Radar Build Dates

I am planning to place a Model X order soon.

If I place an order now, am I guaranteed to get HW4 and Phoenix radar (I assume it is same as HD radar)?

Yes, as long as you get a new vehicle and not an inventory vehicle. You can always turn it down if you get matched to an existing vin that is older.

Any idea what codes they are using to confirm HW4 in inventory?

I have my vin and my option codes but they don’t seem to be an indicator of HW4.

Do we know a VIN cut off after which HW4 became the standard? That should be easiest if we can find it.

Yep, that was a question in my mind all along. Be great starting a doc perhaps and for anyone wishing to confirm their VIN and if HW3 or 4. AFAIC, PF386 (mine) is HW4, w/ build date Feb 11th.

I know vin 385xxx has HW4, that had a build date of 2/10.

Found this in the forums: new MX delivery confirmed this "Ordered Feb 14, VIN PF3834**, Production date Jan 30, Hardware 4 Equipped"
Guess that will mean my VIN PF387XXX is later than this(probably Feb? and should have the AP4/HW4?

Based on my conversations with 2 Tesla abbots and my local Tesla service center, yes.

From my experience, I have the AP4 (aka HW4), Phoenix radar, and the new camera module. I compared my cameras with the ones posted here somewhere with the HW4. I believe if you have AP4 then you should have the Phoenix radar as well along with the new cameras.

If you have a vin they can see it.

I just reached out to my advisor and to someone via chat, both said they couldn't tell me even though i have the vin, go figure. My 2nd Tesla but their sales/service process needs a lot of help.

Any ways to verify if you have one or both? Either by software or physically spot differences? Today received mine in Italy with PF387xxx, wondering how to verify as no screens show presence of neither, also not versions mentioned.

Thanks, I did checked, but all the codes based on the image are just for choices I did configuration for, no HW4 or radar options code detected in neither of these codes in account.
