If every car in America had Tesla's autopilot, 5.5 million crashes would be avoided each year.

On active safety alone, 5 million crashes would be avoided each year.

Insane how much better these cars are than the average US driver...

The Spring on Instagram: “There were 6,452,000 car crashes in America in 2017. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If every car had... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Tesla's active…”

How is this even remotely plausible?
For this to be true Tesla drivers would have to be basically getting into zero at-fault accidents and then also avoiding the majority of accidents where the other driver was at fault.
Liability insurance rates for Teslas sure don't agree with this data.

In West Los Angeles, it seems like every other car is a Tesla.

Yeah I don't see how that's remotely plausible.

...there would be a lot less cars on the road.

Most will be waiting in lines to get charged up or in SC for many months to get fixed.
