I had that issue as well, which seemed to disappear after my last update.Same issue. iPhone xs. I suspect that this problem is also related to the new issue where music automatically starts playing on your phone when it connects to the car.

I'm having this same issue with a Galaxy Note 9.
My car is running 2018.42.2
Do you turn up the volume on the phone or on the car?

Funny enough, I got a new update on Tuesday (2018.46.2) and still have this same issue.
This first silent call issue seems to have been fixed in 48.12.1. I received a call this morning after installing the new software and my outgoing voice worked.
Not.for.me.either .Not for me and I have the fart update
It was fixed in 2018.48.12.1 for me (after it not working in the release prior to that), but after going to 2018.50.6 hoping to fix Spoify issues the exact same phone bug has returned. I don't even bother calling the service centre with bugs now, seems pointless.Reported to Tesla - apparently known issue and a fix will come in future software release
I still have the issue where you can’t hear the other person without scrolling the volume button up on the wheel. That’s on 50.6. Those with Pixel phones, I had all sorts of issues with both the 2 & 3. Changed back to iPhone and now only have the above.
