Hi every one. I have a Model S with the standard speaker system.

Is the wiring for the premium system (additional speakers) already installed in all cars and its just a matter of using the wiring?

Is it possible to change the current speaker system to a premium system i.e. more speakers, sub woofer and software upgrade to allow for dolby?

I was just wondering if the above is possible to do as a retro fit?

Thanks to everyone with a response in advance.

I'd like to hear the answer to this as well. Or even what aftermarket alternatives make sense

I don't think any of the wiring is in place for the extra speakers. I have taken a few things apart on my S and I have not seen any extra wiring. You can add the front door speakers though, they are a bolt in swap.

We offer an upgrade for the factory Tesla audio system at our store. We replace all of the speakers and add a custom built subwoofer enclosure in the trunk area. Feel free to call Jerel for more details and specifications at (310) 854-5454
