Is "phone as key" reliable?

Phone key is all I have ever used since the day I took delivery.
Its never let me down.
I keep a key card in my desk at work just incase.
I don't carry a regular wallet (hate them), only my iPhone with a Magsafe sleeve for my DL and two CC's.
“Phone key” for your car has absolutely nothing to do with what is being talked about in this thread for a 2017 Model S.

to be fair, ur reply is perfectly fine for the title of the thread
but OP made a wrong title without understanding his cars features, so it makes it look like u never read the thread...

This thread is about 2017 Model S so the title "phone as key" should be "internet as a key." Older S/X don't have key card technology so they reply on the Internet to unlock your car and drive.
