I think that sort of advertising is so false, even with the "*", that it shouldn't be allowed. It's as if electric cars don't count or are somehow inferior to their ICE counterparts when both are simply false.

I have no idea why they feel the need to do this, except clearly they are feeling the heat from Tesla, and are contributing to it with stunts like this.

That Jeep would have other qualities where it actually is inherently great. Best quickness of the 0-60 acceleration just isn't one of them, but that ICE has other qualities where it probably shines compared to BEVs and many other ICEs, such as high-end performance.
