I imagine it had something to do with front loading 4680 production for the CT.

I still don't follow. Y cells were line 1, Cybertruck cells are line 2. They had to stop making AWD Y when they started converting line 1 to Cybertruck cells.

Yes, you took delivery of a MY AWD using first generation 4680 cells from the first production line at Gigatexas. The second 4680 production line at Gigatexas is building 2nd generation "Cybercell" cells and packs, which have about a 9% density increase over the 1st gen cells. The 1st production line is currently being updated to produce 2nd gen Cybercells - which is why Tesla stopped using 4680 cells in the base MY AWD back in September - to update the 1st generation line to produce 2nd generation Cybercells. The entirety of 4680 cells/packs currently being produced are being allocated for the CT ramp according to reliable sources. Eventually a 3rd/4th 4680 production line will be built and brought online in H2 2024 - that will complete Phase 1. Phase 2 for the 4680 production ramp is lines 4-8, which will be under construction in H2 2024 and brought online either late 2024 or likely sometime in H1 2025.

The Y is using the 4680, very well documented on this site and in teardowns. Actually the Y was the first Tesla to use the 4680.

I don't understand what you are trying to say. May 2023 is before September 2023 which is when they stopped with 4680 Ys...
