Hi everyone, first-time poster here, from San Diego.
Ordered a brand-new (non-demo car) inventory 3 LR RWD (MSM, 19", black interior, EAP) with low VIN 32xxx on 12/05.
I believe this is the last of this particular configuration in California (there was another inventory car but it was a showroom model with ~1,500 miles).
Today, 12/08, I have my delivery date set at 12/19.
Car's build month is October as confirmed on the phone by competent-sounding Tesla agent who helped arrange my delivery date.
So if the car's build month is indeed correct according to door jamb when I actually get to see the car, then at least in my case VIN numbers don't tell the full story around when our cars are built.
