Ludicrous Mode or Acceleration Boost for Refresh Model X Long Range?

Do you think Tesla will ever release a Ludicrous Mode or Acceleration Boost upgrade for the refreshed long range X in the software upgrade section of the app?

Having a LR that can do 0-60 in 3.1-3.3 range would be very nice but slow enough to not directly complete with the Plaid for ultimate performance.

670 HP. But more is always better.

I got the LR instead of the Plaid because of the tax incentive. If it wasn't for that I would have ordered the plaid. Do I need more than 670 HP... No. Do I still want it.... Yes....

I had a Plaid MX last week when my MX was in for PDR. I will say that the extra power was a blast. I was shocked they didn’t have Plaid mode locked down on a demo, but I guess they figured it sells more Plaids.

It was not speed limited? They almost always lock down the loaners

I too thought they’d be locked down to 85, but I went a “bit” over that with no alerts or issues. The speed limit here on I84 is 75mph so traffic outside of town flows 85-90 easily.

You get used to the Plaid and most of the time you can’t really floor it due to traffic and the need to brake all this mass back to safe speeds. Who are you racing in that ludicrous/boost mode?

I found plaid to be totally unnecessary after borrowing one of each

Not racing anyone. Not a young person anymore. Freeway onramp blasts are really fun.
