Fake news

Like you being an environmentalist?

I have some friends in Boulder that I think you'd get along great with. They are pretty affluent. They live in a 6,000 square foot house that has three air conditioning units. They have solar + wind + geothermal but still complain that even with all of that their electric bill is about $350 a month in the summer (they like it comfortable so set thermostats to 70F). They drive gas guzzling cars but they "love mother earth". They are for every tax anyone ever heard about if it means that there is more clean energy. They think ZERO about the impact that sky high energy prices have on the typical working family or businesses that are needed in order to make the economy work for regular Americans.

If they cared as much about the earth as they constantly profess then instead of voting for socialist policies they'd sell their house + cars, live in a yurt and drive a bicycle or at least drive a Prius.

We march:
People’s Climate Movement March

People’s Climate March

We stand with farmers, our familia.

Marching in Lincoln, NE, to give Keystone the boot

We buy food from friends who don’t use pesticides
Search Results for “Paonia” – Page 2

Search Results for “Sustainable settings”

We don’t use pesticides
Wildflowers

We do it ourselves. No government needed.

I defend friends who have ... rounds of ammunition stored. Because it’s their right.

Want me to keep going?

Hombre, turn off your tv.

Fake news
Since you are not replying to a specific post before you put in your text, or you're deleting the quotes portion for some reason, nobody has any idea who you're responding to here. But since you've chosen not to clarify this in any subsequent posts, one has to wonder if you have any idea who you're talkin to either.

Hey voip-ninja,

You don’t even know what you stand for.

You say I’m “frightening”. All because I’m different.

You call me a hypocrite for defending our, that’d be yours too cowboy, right to freedom, free speech, assembly, and clean soil.

You make judgments from your keyboard, that are so out there, no amount of LSD could reconcile them.

Like socialism. Criticising actions my family and friends have taken for years now, that benefit you.

You stand for nothing.

I want to apologize to all members of the forum and the insufferable voip-ninja for using the phrase “fake news”.

The phrase is despicable, it has no place in a free society.

I hope you’ll accept my sincere apology. I feel terrible.

Good morning,

I'm surprised no one noticed the street person in the picture I took drew the peace sign wrong - Mercedes logo. I thought for sure voip-ninja would flame me once again -- "See! He doesn't even know what the peace sign is. He's a hypocrite. Down with spinbackwards"! ;-)

This is a bad sign, that people mistake the Mercedes logo for the peace sign. Are things are worse than they appear?

Anyway, enough of my carrying on.

Trip report:
Yesterday coming home from Denver.

Elevation in Denver, 5280. Elevation home 6800.

The drive goes over two passes - Eisenhower Tunnel and Vail Pass.

Temp was high 40’s in Denver. High teens at the tunnel. 20's over Vail Pass. Not much wind. Dry roads.

Heavy traffic leaving Denver. No traffic rest of the way. I was going 4 over the speed limit for most of the drive. I stayed the speed limit when it was 75. Heater on @ 77 the whole way. Tunes cranking.

See attached screenshot.

I charged to 90% at the Park Meadows SC. Did some errands then drove home.

I left downtown Denver @ 250 rated. Pulled in with 69. No stop at the Silverthorne SC.

My friend who has an S, wrote, "282 Wh/mi for that drive with hills and temps is impressive. It would have been ~400 in my S. That’s actually an argument that you made the right call getting the 3".

Seems like it. I was happy to see 282. This with snow tires and the ski rack. I'll take it.

Peace. Love. Reverence. Justice,
