Flood gates have open on 2019.40.50.5. Big push going on now

Yep. We got 40.50.5 last night, after only a few days on 50.1. Haven’t driven it yet. Has anyone noticed any significant changes? Yesterday before the update, voice commands were still a 50/50 proposition, so I’m hoping that’s back to at least what it once was.

Voice commands were also 50/50 for me. Today after the 40.50.5 update, I tried the voice commands, and it hesitated like it wouldn't work, but it eventually showed up, so I think there is some kind of fix in place. It never did that before.

Looks like autowipers got a neural net update on 2019.40.50.5. I've noticed a lot more aggressive wiping in the dark this morning.

It was light misty rain, so technically yes.

did you follow the setup instructions in the release notes? It's a bit convoluted.

good tip. I had missed the part about syncing messages from the Bluetooth menu

My M3 started beeping at me after 10 or 15 seconds. I think it saw the green light and was trying to clue me in.

I wish it would also start beeping at me if the car ahead moves but I don't. My wife's Subaru does that when I happen to not be paying close attention.

I didn’t know it would do that. Configurable option: instead, have it automatically honk at the offending car.

50.40.5 coming down now... (I never got 50.40.1, and sounds like it wasn't awesome so hopefully this is...)

Guess I need to go upgrade my phone to iOS 13 now too.... I'd been sticking to 12.4 with all the 13.x issues, but seems like 13.3 is finally stable enough it's lasted more than a week without further patching

Only on 2019.40.50.5 is where I would describe the wipers being consistently aggressive in the dark. All other versions in the dark, it would be spotty depending on the surrounding light conditions.

Ahh, like the impatient driver behind you. If it were "optimized" for California drivers, it would start beeping at you one nanosecond after the light turned green.

13.2 had trouble WiFi tethering. Don’t know if 13.3 fixed it.

Weirdest update schedule....this morn I got one and installed at work, but the app wouldnt clear it, said it had to install....got home and deleted and reinstalled app and another update appeared 40.50.5 and now its installing....
