2400 miles and here is what SMT is showing today.

I’ll be back once I’ve done a few full cycles with my new charger

Will be interresting.

The BMS is helped by seing both high and low SOC, at the same time as the car gets to sleep(no sentry mode).

If we where unsure before, now we know from the pictures that it is the 82kWh battery(panasonic 2170L) you have. 👌

Hey guys, I have yet to invest in the SMT app. But was wondering what is the NFP suppose to be on that 82.1 Panasonic pack? Since you guys are complaining at 76-77.x? My car has about 5500 miles on it and when i slide that charging limiter, it shows 295-301 as it does fluctuate while I'm supercharging. Have yet to do a 100% slow or Level-2 charge though.

You are talking about the slider at 100% in the car, right? As the mobile app can not be thrusted in the range case…
Using the car is more reliable, best is a real full charge or charge to 80-90%, use the shownnrange and calculate the 100% range( range at 90% / 0.9 etc).

You could also use the energy screen calculation( average consumption x remaining range / SOC).

You have a M3P, right?
Most common NFP when the car is new for the M3P seems to be between 80 and 81kWh. I had NFP = 80.7 kWh when I connected the SMT, after getting the car and driving it 1000km to my home.

The constant is 159Wh/km so it should be 256Wh/mi.
Your NFP seem to be 75.6-77kWh unless the 295-301 was seen on the mobile app.

How old is the car?
How do you charge daily?
At what SOC is the car parked over night mostly?

I am sure this has been covered, but has anyone noticed since the update that the scheduled departure charging has a mind of its own?
It used to send me a message every morning at 7:15 saying it was ready for my 7:30 departure.
Now it does not complete charging until 10:45 the next morning. So I changed the time, and then it started charging at was ready the about midnight.

5L seen in any M3 Performance yet?
You will have to look to China/HK to (maybe) spot some customer feedback about the E5LD Performance. There are none expected to arrive before February 2022. My E5LD Performance is due in March 2022.
(Did you get your new?)
Yes, but still a 2021 M3P 82kWh E3LD with awesome "made in China" built quality!

Thats litterally the best of two worlds!
Nice catch! ;)
Now you just need to pat the battery with the hair to keep the capacity :p

(I am on first week in new job, technical course, TR in two weeks)
