Matte Nose Cone

    What do you guys think of this. I personally think it looks great. It gets rid of the plastic look for the nose cone. Looks more sporty too. This is not my car, but a friend's.

    Here is a pic of an S without the matte wrap. See the difference it makes?

    I like it a lot, but the wrinkles in the vinyl along the edge (right side of closeup) would drive me crazy...

    Did mine in platinum carbon fiber on Pearl White car. Nose and lower rear bumper..............couldn't be happier.

    I had mine done recently and they removed the cone before wrapping it. It's perfect - no wrinkles. I used black brushed aluminum. Really better than the stock cheap plastic look IMHO.

    I talked to the owner about it and he said he is going to get it re-wrapped, this time by removing the nosecone so there will be no wrinkles as the wrap will curl all the way around the back of it.

    I personally like the matte look. If wrapped with a material that was somewhat soft and impact resistant it would probably, or hopefully, no pick up rock chips from the road.

    I painted the lower portion to match my car's color, the wrapped the top with CF by Vivid.
