Tesla Model S/X 2021+ Yoke Steering Wheel Genuine OEM Almost New Condition

Selling my almost new Tesla Model S/X Yoke Steering Wheel, Genuine OEM, in almost new condition. It was just replaced a month ago as my previous yoke was peeling. I am selling it as I just had the "round" steering wheel installed for personal preference reasons. I will ship it within the...

Tesla CCS1 Combo Adapter - North America - (OEM - Original from Tesla)

The long-awaited charging adapter - CCS Combo 1 (CCS1) to Tesla proprietary standard . This adapter is the original from Tesla. It works very well in North America, but it is not sold here yet. It comes from South Korea. I tested it on a Model Y 2021 LR and it works very well. Please verify if...

Does this mean that the new Tesla to CCS adapter will not work?

    This is exactly it.

Great news. Wondering about FSD subscriptions for Canada.

    Yoke buttons flickering

Maybe a coincidence but my car started this flickering a couple of weeks before some electronic systems failure due to a suspension harness problem.

    Feet are frozen

Just installed the latest update. Will test today. Meanwhile, here's a very interesting thread on Twitter explaining the heat pump issue:
  12. P

    Refreshed MS LR/Plaid Firmware status

Same for me, no notifications. I have to check in the app. As for 2021.44.30.6, it's effectively for the heat pump in very cold weather. Will test today as yesterday my car started blowing cold air in the middle of a trip... You can read more on this update: Critical Tesla heat pump fixes...
  13. P

2021 model 3 LR heat blowing cold. Error

We have exactly this problem on our Model Y. A lag of about 15-20 min. before the ext. temperature "adjust' to the real one.

Model S Plaid heating system sucks!!!

I preheat all the time. It helps, but there's still something wrong. There's always some cold drafts coming on our legs. Only does this on my Model S - Model Y is fine in the cold.
  15. P

Model S Plaid heating system sucks!!!

Yes, exactly. There's always like a draft of cold air going on your legs. Only happens on my Model S not in my wife Model Y... Please keep us posted on your appointement. It was -19C (-2F) today.... So far disapointed by my Model S performance in the cold compared to Model 3/Y....

Model S Plaid heating system sucks!!!

For those having issues with heating, Model Y owners are experiencing similar issues (my wife owns a Model Y and we had issues this weekd-end). https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/feet-are-frozen.252430/ Also, there's supposedly a software issue that's been investigated that make the heat...
  19. P

    Feet are frozen

So happy I'm not alone with this issue anymore. Along with the "new" UI, it seems Tesla is not testing enough for cold climates. Like I suggested in 2012, Tesla should have a small team in a very cold / winter place to make sure everyting works in those conditions...
  20. P

Steering assist reduced, ABS disabled, TC disabled,Stability control disabled, regen braking..

My Plaid had the same issue. Luckily, another owner had this issue before. Also caused by freezing temperature. Probably something similar on the Model Y. See my service invoice for for my. Model S.
  21. P

    Poll on V11 interface

Agreed. Actually I think most similar controls in the car should use a +/- as it's very difficult to use sliders while driving.
  22. P

    Poll on V11 interface

For those not on Twitter: Elon just tweeted this... But I keep my expectations low...
  23. P

    Poll on V11 interface

I agree it's confusing. The speed limit sign says exactly the same thing but means something else.
  24. P

    Poll on V11 interface

The most absurd thing is that you can create a shortcut to the Dashcam viewer, but you can't create a shortcut to save a clip with a single click.
  25. P

    Poll on V11 interface

And on top of that - with the "update" you can't see on the main screen if you have a good LTE signal before doing the voice command!
  26. P

    Poll on V11 interface

Yeah, I've been able to make it appear a couple of times. Most of the time the temp. changes and I need to revert it back. Needs way too much precision for a moving vehicle.
  27. P

    Poll on V11 interface

The more I use it the more I feel like it was designed on a PC screen. Almost everything seems as it wasn't designed to be used in a car in movement. Even some parts of the screen such as the "car icon menu" that needs to be accessed so often is not visible as the steering wheels is hiding it.
  28. P

    Poll on V11 interface

Yes, I'm getting this big screen. I was taking about the "mini temperature screen" that appears when you click on plus or minus. It's quasi impossible to make it appear without changing temperature.
  29. P

    Poll on V11 interface

No it doesn't work. The full menu appears for me.

    Poll on V11 interface

Thank you. Will try that on my next ride.

2021+ Model S and Model S Plaid Refresh Issues Thread

Here's a video of the door handle extension sound. It's from a brand new Model S Plaid 2021. Sorry for the dirty car, just came back from a trip in a snow storm... https://www.dropbox.com/s/ih9pa9sn8ptvio7/model%20s%20door%20handles%20sound.mp4?dl=0 Pat
  33. P

    Poll on V11 interface

The problem is that clicking the arrow changes the temperature! We should be able to make this mini menu appear without having to change the temperature.
  34. P

2021+ Model S and Model S Plaid Refresh Issues Thread

It's quite noisy - almost sounds "sci-fi" at least for the door handles. Personnly I like it, but can understand it may sound "broken" or like there's too much friction. I'll try to record the sounds today and post.

    Wipers won't freaking stop

It's not just you. Happen very often. The AI gets confused on many situations.

We mean when driving not preheating the car... In the cold your windshield can frost very rapidly in matter of seconds.

The MCU2 stepchildren got V11 update and it ain't pretty

I think it's USA only. Don't have it in Canada even in my 2021 Model S.

    Poll on V11 interface

As expected. On a similar topic, my father and my mom are almost 80 yeas old. I convinced them to move to a Tesla from an Audi about 24 months ago. Now they are terrified with the new update and by not being able to access the defrost function rapidly. Seriously what the heck. It's a trillion...

27 phantom brake in 10 miles. How often should I press camera button to report? 10.6.1 FSD

That will be fun to press the camera button with the new update... Oh, I forgot, like many other things it's gone for the sake of "simplicity".

Holiday Update (2021.44.25.2)- A Big Disappointment

Can we all agree that those living in non-winter places do not comment on the defrost and seat heater disappearance from the bottom bar ;) You probably never experienced your windshield instantly frosting and had to press a button in a matter of seconds on the highway because you lost all your...

    Wiki 2021+ Model S Refresh - Missing/Incomplete Software Features

2021+ Model S and Model S Plaid Refresh Issues Thread

    Model S Plaid winter heating

It seems better in manual but was not able to test a lot as my car has an issue with many electrical systems (ABS, suspension, steering, etc.). Luckily, I wasn't the first to have this problem so Tesla ordered the replacement part (a 3' cable!) to solve the issue.
  46. P

    Model S Plaid winter heating

You perfectly describe my issue. Really unconfortable and annoying. I hope it's only a software thing....
  47. P

    Model S Plaid winter heating

Exactly have this problem. Model 3 and Y were great. In the Plaid I get cold / hot.
