New Model S owner, and have a question. Just purchased a 2014 P85D. Was concerned about charge limits for the 85kw cars from the threads that have been recently posted. I have been charging to 90%, as recommended, but last week set a 100%. When the charge was complete, it stopped at 95%, and would not charge further. I did make the change of percentage on the Tesla Remote App, not from inside the car. Is this unusual?

I would say somewhere between common and uncommon. It's not like really really frequent, but happens occasionally for enough people that there have been several threads about it, like these:

They have limited me to 60kw charge rate with v10. Here is official word from Tesla last week.
Yes, there are no guarantees in life but death.
BUT
when I was charging at 100kw or close. Now my max is 60. That is more than a loss from old age battery. That is a throttled back rate.
Here is my pack report, they killed my range , 245 to 211.

This sounds to me like a battery calibration thing. Not damage. A few times a year, charge to 100% and discharge to as near to 0% as you dare. Ours cleared up after a few of these. Hopefully yours will too!
