looks good, did you do it yourself?
Yes, it's a pretty straight-forward job. I used push-ins and vhb but didn't have adhesion promoter so the bond wasn't great. Don't make the same mistake as me. Having some rhino-ramps to get the back end up makes it a bit easier as well. The fitment on my Unplugged front lip is quite a bit better but at the same time it should be based on the price.

One thing I forgot to mention is that when I was looking at all the varieties of VHB tape I found it a bit confusing which one to use. On the Maier Racing site they recommend 3M adhesive promoter #06396 and double sided tape #06383 for their aero goodies so that's the one I'd buy.

I like the idea of double-sided tape around the perimeter of the part to seal it off from the significant rainfall where I live in hopes this minimizes collecting dirt and debris. Maybe this is less of an issue in sunnier climes. The IKON kit looks pretty good.

I get it, but even with adhesive around the perimeter gunk is going to find its way in there. With just expanding fasteners, you can easily take it off a couple times a year to allow a cleaning.

FYI, the adhesive promoter in the IKON kit is in a squeeze tube but I'd recommend squirting it on a paper plate or piece of cardboard and then using a small brush to apply to the area you want to apply the adhesive. It will be easier this way (less mess, less waste, more targeted application).

Finally got around to installing rear diffuser. Used VHB tape and pushpins. Took my self about one hour to install. Changed out to my studded tires at the same time. Fitment is pretty good and no gaps. At least better than within Tesla’s delivery specs.

Thanks for all the tips on this everyone, got mine installed today - made a video for anyone else looking to install - hope it helps, used a lot of advice from this thread! Thanks again!! Maxton Design Diffuser Install
