I just received the email from the "Lead Inside Delivery Advisor"
I was told mid-August delivery for my AWD, MSM 19 inch wheels.

Oh man! That's our delivery location. Pretty much same order - except Blue Metallic..
Still no vin or contact.

Tesla has moved the Model 3 pre-delivery delivery specialist functions (at least for the US) to Inside Sales in Las Vegas Nevada. I landed in the middle of that transition last week as I was preparing my tradein. My local Delivery Specialist began the process and conducted the evaluation. The notification of my new Delivery Specialist in Las Vegas happened an hour or two later. Luckily there was zero problem in the transition and my Las Vegas person is very responsive. I was told that the local delivery people are very, very busy doing actual physical deliveries so the Las Vegas people do everything else. It is early days, I don't yet have a VIN, but so far I think it is an improvement.

Its probably not a placeholder. most likely you have a similar config to pinik5, also the vins for AWD/Perf (AWD and Perf share the B value in the VIN) were registered in small clumps. so its not surprising you will be close to other AWD/Perf VINS
We have the same configuration, so it seems. It looks like our VIN's ave very close. Kind of crazy.
Yes, at first I thought something must be off but it makes sense. I've just never seen this in any forum.
