Mic Location

I wonder about the mic location... when sunroof is open I can't talk on my iPhone using bluetooth and the onboard mic. The wind noise coming in from the open sunroof is too much and people can not hear me.

Any ideas if this can be fixed?

About the only thing that can work around the existing mic location is to un-synch the phone and use a headset. Not a real solution, but a hack that could suffice.

My last car would automatically reduce the HVAC fan speed whenever a voice command or bluetooth call was in progress, then resume fan speed afterwards. Wonder if Model S does this too?

Yes.. my car does this as well. HVAC fan noise is bad.. open sunroof/windows would be impossible.

I made a request to Tesla Ownership to add functionality to automatically close the sunroof when a call comes in. Could be a simple toggle switch on the Settings screen.

I use Bluetooth on my BMW convertible and people can understand me with the top down until about 50mph. It can be done.

At first the bluetooth worked great. For about the last week, I can barely hear the caller. Is there a way to adjust the voume?

I have an aftermarket kit in my Boxster and it works fine with the top down at anything below freeway speeds. On the freeway it's OK with the windows up, although people ask if I'm in the car...

I believe while in a call the volume scroll wheel (left one IIRC) will adjust the phone volume.
