I decided to go with the Pilot Sport 4S tires from Discount Tire. Final price was $962 after tax and installation. I had a 4pm appointment and drove off with my new tires at 4:26pm. Pretty amazing. I’ve only gone five miles on them but so far so good.
Thank you for your business, we greatly appreciate your support. That's fantastic they where able to get your vehicle completed in such an efficient manner. Having an appointment seems to have a huge advantage if pressed for time.

That is a pretty incredible price for 4 PS4S tires. What size was that in?
18”. They included the certificates in that price too for replacement coverage if the tire is damaged beyond repair. So far I’m loving the new tires. They are so much better than the OEMs.

Costco has the same tires for about $157 more but I don’t use Costco any more because they take too long to get anything done.

Check their website. Its on there now. It's $311/per, arrival in 1-5 business days. Also, Hankook just started their rebate about a week ago, until July 7th.

To add, for those who have lost trust in rebates throughout the years, Hankook honors their rebates.

I bought the iONs when they had the first rebate promo and it was flawless. Submitted it online, got paid.

Debating if I should order a set for my M3P now...

DT is a great company and those are great tires - enjoy!

DT quality (and competency) of service varies tremendously from location to location. Depending on the competency of the manager, the people he hires, and whether or not he stays on top of equipment calibration schedule.

I've been to top-notch DT locations patronized by local SCCA, PCA, and BMWCCA clubs.
And I've been to the most inept DT shop with "top techs" unable to mount a tire onto a wheel without leaking, after 3 (three!) tries. The ass-clowns even talked me into filing a Michelin warranty claim for "defective" tire. Another shop installed it w/o issues on first try.

Read the reviews, and ask around.

Got the Hankook Ion EVO AS tires on my 2019 LR RWD Model 3 and I'm loving them. As quiet as the stock Michelen's, and less energy consumption. Haven't used them in bad weather yet, but the Michelen's were so bad in the rain that I'm sure these will be an improvement.

Michelin PS4's are fantastic in the rain. And even better in dry. They are no-good for track, as they overheat quickly and start pealing off in chunks.

As tread wears, all tires loose ability to evacuate standing water from under them. Comparing worn-out tires to brand new ones, of any type, is self-deceiving.
As is comparing summer performance (Michelin PS4s) tires with All Season (Hankook Evo AS) tires for performance. Apples to oranges.

If you can't tell the difference, then just buy the cheapest. Most tire places will sell you some no-brand for < $100/tire.
If you know the difference, you know! Or you research here:

My stock Michelin's were AS, and they were terrible in the rain from day 1. I wasn't directly responding to the orignal thread.
