Is this a method to make changes with no charge if it’s quick enough?

I am still under 24 hours and now wondering if I should go black seats rather than white . Can I do so up to a certain point with no charge or is it $500.

I'm hoping so. When I talked to service line on Monday evening sorrysh after they unveiled the MR, the guy on the line said it should be no problem to change it now since I didn't have a VIN or delivery specialist assigned yet.

YMMV, so maybe you'll want to call service yourself and record the call (assuming you're calling from a one-party consent or let them know at the beginning that you're recording). Not sure if it would help you anywhere than a court of law, but the email they generated and sent to me didn't mention a $500 change fee, so I'm fairly confident you'll be ok as long as you do it quickly.

There is also a part of me that says they may reach out to us at some point and have us take existing LR inventory.
Of course with an up charge but perhaps a compromise to unload the inventory and make both sides happy with the deal.

I would possibly be up for something like that.
 
Blue lemur with black interior, Aero wheels, no EAP.

My wife is already griping about having to drive to Fremont to pick up the car instead of at the local store or service center. However, if this improves my chances of actually getting the car this year, the hassle will be more than worth it. :)
 
Black , white interior , aero, no EAP. I was skeptical, but looks like many are taking the white...I saw it in person and liked it.
Im one worh early reservation number... First few hours on opening day. Do they take that into account?
It looks like your reservation has no value these days...it all depends on where you are and whether they have car or not.

Also, no EAP ( pure profit for them ), base black color ( again , they are losing out thousands if not hundreds ) and white interior may mean they cant find one in a batch?

Still on the fence. Love the way they look and drive, but not happy with delivery issues, component issues, paint and overall quality issues, no key fob yet, etc etc. Good luck, everyone!
