Misleading/False Information on my Used Tesla Inventory Purchase

Same thing with advertised P90DL 0-60 speeds. They list it at 2.6, which is only possible if you have a V3 battery (and even then dubious). Earlier versions are closer to 2.8 - 3.0 sec. I'm not expecting them to take every car to the drag strip and measure 0-60s individually, but with the information they have at their disposal they DEFINITELY can be a lot more accurate if they wanted, and it'd take them zero effort to do so. But they don't.

I dont know how people.on this forum can continue to defend tesla...

Oh, they can.
[1] It's a young company going through growing pains.
[2] It's all FUDs by shorts
[3] The number of problems is minuscule, compared to the non-issue cars/deliveries/SC experience
[4] Tesla is trying to "disrupt" the norm, and deserves all support regardless of incompetence, blatant lies,...
[5] Well, other manufacturers have the same issues, so it's not that unusual.

I'm sure there are others, but I'm too tired to look up.

5 must be my favorite one. Someone just replied to one of my comments with "There will always be horror stories." I just laughed. If that's the kind of people supporting Tesla, I am out of that club. This forum seems to be the wrong place for people that have anything bad to say about Tesla, they are immediately labeled as FUD spreaders like you said. What can you do, just watch and enjoy the show.

Despite my negative comments, I'm an ardent Tesla supporter. I have lots of TSLAs (unfortunately, stock price is in the dumpster at the moment) in my portfolio, and I desperately want the company to do well. But if Tesla blind fanboys are in denial about the issues and brush them off like it's normal, acceptable, and "within company spec", then it will not end well.

I have the exact same problem. I got lied to on my used car's page on Tesla and I got flat out lied to by a Tesla employee who said to my face that "I could return the car within 7 days if I didn't like it" to get me to sign the purchase papers before they even showed the car to me. Of course, now they're saying there's no such policy. I am beyond myself with disappointment and anger at all of this, some of it directed at myself for not being vigilant enough but most of it at Tesla who lied to me and misled to me at every single turn.

I made a thread about it too, you can check it out for more details.

Sad but funny update:
So today just for the heck of it I decided to contact Tesla chat since my delivery specialist won't respond to me and doesn't even know what I am talking about. So, I sent him the whole thing how I was scammed and my service center won't do anything about it. I attach an article so he knows exactly what I'm talking about. He reads through it and says I'll contact your service center to figure out why they denied you. At this point, I get excited thinking I finally have gotten through to someone. I thank him a lot and give him 5 stars for actually helping with this. Then just now he emails me saying that the 75D is not eligible for ludicrous mode.

I.... don't even know what to do at this point. No one seems to understand what I'm saying.

I was laying in bed and I got out because I felt bad for your situation @hmaster1332 - I have a service invoice that covered the work so I am copying it for you. There's no "code" for it but the description should be sufficient.

I was a 2016 AP2 Model X. I did hear that some AP1 Model S/X got uncorked but I am unsure if 100% was eligible.

Here is what I suggest. Get a service center appointment and show them this:

I think you are having a hard time because:

1.) Tesla is swamped in general.
2.) New support staff know even less about the cars than the owners.
3.) This type of upgrade is often done so few have knowledge and familiarity of it.

Also, you may want to also test your Model S 0-60 and see if you are close to advertised spec.

By test, use a reliable method like going to a track, getting a Dragy, etc.

I hope this can help you find resolution.

I'm sorry, but that response has me laughing hysterically. I hope this is ultimately resolved for you.

This is exactly what I've been trying to find online. Thank you so much for this.

I think this confirms what we’ve all been thinking, Tesla has outsourced its online help to the same Indian firm that handles Comcast customer support.
