So they tried to cancel my appointment as the train was 15 minutes from toronto. Only after i told them i had no way back to Windsor, did they try to do something about it. They offered a rental to go back to windsor.

I expressed my disappointment amd they called back later saying that i can take delivery today but at a later time.

So now i got hours to kill... Not the best experience ..

If you're hungry, just down the street (bit of a walk or a short uber ride) there is a diner restaurant called Zet's. Worth checking out.

I saw another person who was scheduled for a 5pm delivery today and was informed this morning that the car was still in transport and they wouldn't be able to pick it up until Friday. I'm expecting to see plenty more situations like this as they become more and more overwhelmed.

Hopefully this is only an isolated case. This will be too much if they miss deliveries and didnt informed customers beforehand.

Indeed. It's bad enough that some people are waiting until less than 24 hours before delivery to actually receive the paperwork they need to get a bank draft made up. Like many people, I already have travel and vacation plans lined up. If they wait until the morning of delivery to inform me of a delay as simple as 'oh, your car isn't here yet', it's going to be incredibly disruptive.

I would say you should plan on it. They are obviously extremely overwhelmed. Better to expect the worst and then be pleasantly surprised if it does better.

Me too. If that’s happened to me, I will be tossed. How I can live in Canada without a vehicle. I sold my previous vehicle hoping to get a new car this Friday. Two days to go, I need keep praying.

Id love to say the reason why im not able to pick up my car during my original appointment, but i was so upset when they called me that i forget exactly what he said.

It had something to do with the logistics team informing him that my car either wasnt there yet, or it wasnt ready.

Hi everyone. I just ordered a RWD M3! Ideally I wanted the AWD, but I don't think I'd qualify for the incentive once it comes out. What should my next steps be? I'm assuming I should get my home charging station installed?

Also, I've read that the loan option is an open loan. I still haven't decided whether I want to pay cash or take financing. If it is confirmed they're all open loans, then I will take a loan instead to delay this decision.

While I am planning for the worst, letting me know the morning of is unacceptable. At best, I'll end up wasting at least half a day of time off for no reason by the time I can get in.

Hi, congrats on your order! Now you have to play the waiting game and resist the urge to refresh your account constantly looking for changes.

You can technically order your charging station at any time. I preferred to wait until I had a VIN and delivery date scheduled.

You are correct, it is an open loan that can be paid off at any time. What config did you order?

I ordered a black LR M3 with premium package with no autopilot. I will however get FSD when it comes out, but I don't see that happening for a while in Canada due to regulations. So chances are, I'll be buying the FSD on the next Tesla.

I'm assuming it's going to take some time to get someone to come to install the charging station. Last thing I want is to get the car and not be able to charge it.

I hope you're aware that you need to buy EAP before you can buy FSD.

As for the charger, I ordered mine last week Friday, it arrived this past Monday and I have it scheduled to be installed this Friday. You can take that as a reference point.

Yes, I'm aware of that. EAP is too expensive for my usage right now. While FSD is worth the 11k, I don't want to pay and have to wait 5 years. It's looking like most companies are at least 2-3 years away from FSD, and it'll take Canada another year or two to adopt the regulations. Therefore, I decided not to get any AP system.

I hope I am still in the queue during the "Prepare for Your Model 3 Delivery" stage. Won't be able to finish that for a few days =(

Standing by the Wendy's parking lot is a great spot to watch planes fly over you if they're using that runway this afternoon! Take some pictures and some selfies of the belly of airplanes!
