Woohoo/ Just got my Vision Agreement and VIN. EDD is now 11/20-23

Order date 9/20
Original EDD was 11/2-11/20
Then 11/13-11/27
Now 11/20-23
LR Blue/aero/no FSD
DC metro area

Got my delivery text today and I pick up on 11/20!

My VIN for the car that was released is still showing. And Delivery still showing as Nov 11-16 To anyone who denied delivery how long did your VIN stay on your account?

You won't be able to get insurance without a vin. Just processed mine - went up about $90/month

In NY and just got a text about trading in a vehicle. Not sure if that means VIN is coming soon. Anyone else get this?

I waited until I had a vin. My insurance required a vin. If you go through Tesla the loan application is only good for 60 days

I don’t see that option. But I wonder if it’s because I got one that was in their inventory. The releasing was not my choice.

I will make a second request to my SA (the only person from Tesla who has contacted me) to obtain a hold until January. If that fails I will try to contact my local Tesla office. Hopefully I won't go to the end of the queue.

Heads up for Indiana / Midwest. Just recieved a text from Tesla asking if I had a trade in that I wanted to get set up before the upcoming model 3 delivery. Hopeing this is a good sign that we will see some movement our way soon.

Seems pretty odd they can’t get orders fulfilled in a timely manner in CA… it’s so close to Fremont! What spec did you order? I’m in Santa Barbara and I’m dreading a wait as long as yours. I got black/black 18” no FSD OD was 10/24.

Finance and I did my order online. I adjusted the monthly payment to maximum hence i was able to make it 0 down. That’s good to know that they also require the first monthly payment at delivery.

Probably won't since you're financing. I leased so first months payment is due with drive off.

First payment isn’t due when you pick up. I picked my model Y up Nov 6th first payment isn’t due until Dec 11th

i’m in Fremont and have similar OD to you. EDD is 11/26-12/28. I mentioned I planned on heading out of town and wanted more info to plan accordingly. SA told me that the delivery date is accurate and cannot further estimate the time frame. Will have to wait to book my vacation until after post delivery lol

Got a message from tesla telling me that the truck my car is coming on is delayed, so they scheduled me for a saturday (20th) delivery as opposed to next thursday...so that's annoying...
