8/25 Here. Still no VIN.OD 08/23, 80 days without vin. Burbank is the worst location to make an order

I have not received VIN and EDD is set for 11/18-12/16. I'm currently setup as cash with a trade-in. The trade-in quote hit 30 days today and I've decided I'm just going to sell it privately. Do you think it's better to have it removed from the order now or wait until I get a VIN? I also plan to switch to financing as soon as I get a VIN.

since you just ordered have you looked at existing inventory? here in FL there are 12 new Model 3 ready to be sold.

Oops, if that’s the case then the order site is really incorrect still showing December as estimated delivery
Give them insurance for your current car. I did it with my S and 3LR orders. Worked fine
I have picked up my Plaid in Maryland, no complaints from Tesla
I even gave them expired insurance for my X which was sold then already They have never seen/asked insurance for the plaid, but I had it on the pickup dateGot my VIN a few days ago. I was following your EDD since I’m in the similar location with a similar OD (9/12). No luck on my end yet (EDD 11/13 - 12/9) but fingers crossed!
Thanks! Should have seen the look on my face when I was refreshing my account randomly and saw that there was an update to accept Vision agreement, then my eyes wandered over to see an actual VIN assigned.
What configuration did you order? I have a feeling yours will be updating very soon!
